Where Desert Elegance Meets Unforgettable Hospitality

Picture this: the sun dips behind Phoenix’s South Mountain, string lights flicker on across a resort ballroom, and you’re the one orchestrating the magic — gliding between tables, anticipating needs before they’re spoken, turning a simple dinner into an experience guests will talk about for years. This is the stage. This is Arizona Grand Resort & Spa.

Sprawled across 640 acres at the base of South Mountain Park — the largest municipal park in the country — our AAA Four Diamond resort has long been the backdrop for Phoenix’s most memorable celebrations. As a Banquet Server, you won’t just set tables and clear plates. You’ll be part of a team that turns weddings, galas, and corporate soirées into standout moments in the Valley of the Sun.

  • The composure to serve and clear courses exactly as directed via the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
  • Sharp communication skills and an ability to anticipate guest needs before they ask
  • The stamina to carry trays up to 40 pounds with grace, even through a packed ballroom
  • A commitment to cleanliness, professionalism, and presentation worthy of a four-diamond address
The Essentials
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of high-volume service experience preferred
  • Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification and Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification required
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and liquor regulations

Phoenix isn’t just a city — it’s a canvas of desert sunsets, vibrant culture, and year-round sunshine. And Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is where that spirit comes alive, one flawlessly served event at a time. If you’re ready to bring precision, poise, and personality to every banquet you touch, we’d love to set a place for you on our team.

The Arizona Grand Resort & Spa’s leaders and associates believe each guest should be treated with respect and professionalism. We create a genuine experience, enticing our guests to return again and again. In order to be successful at The Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, associates must share both our Purpose (Making Space for Genuine Hospitality) and Pillars (Hands On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Conscientious). This includes possessing and demonstrating a high level of courtesy and respect for both internal and external guests. Our fun, friendly and enthusiastic associates treat every guest as if they were our only guest. A true customer focus is essential to success with our property.
