Mid (Afternoons and Evenings)

Start the Day With Flavor, Finish With Pride

Morning light over the palms. The first aromas from the kitchen. A resort waking up to another beautiful day in Scottsdale. At The Scott Resort & Spa, you won’t simply prepare food—you’ll help set the tone for unforgettable escapes, leisurely brunches, poolside afternoons, and the vibrant dining experiences that make The Canal Club a favorite for guests and locals alike.

Located steps from the energy of Old Town Scottsdale, The Scott is a colorful, sun-soaked retreat where desert style meets genuine hospitality. We’re looking for a talented, dependable culinary professional to bring skill, speed, and great instincts to our morning and afternoon kitchen operations.

If you thrive on a well-run line, take pride in a beautiful plate, and love being part of a team that turns busy service into something seamless, this is your invitation to bring the heat.

Your Kitchen, Your Craft, Your Moment

From early prep to afternoon service, you’ll be part of the culinary engine behind memorable resort moments. You’ll prepare flavorful, consistent dishes with the care and precision guests expect from The Scott and The Canal Club—whether they’re beginning a day of Scottsdale shopping and golf, relaxing by the pool, or lingering over a meal with friends.

  • Bring fresh, high-quality ingredients to life while maintaining consistency in flavor, portioning, and presentation.

  • Safely operate kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, and other culinary tools.
  • Support Sous Chefs, the Executive Chef, and fellow culinary team members during service, prep, special events, and daily operations.
  • Move with purpose during high-volume periods while staying calm, communicative, and team-focused.
