Dynamic Property Operations Project Manager Opportunity at Our Beautiful and Historic Luxury Resort!
Build Exceptional Guest Experiences In The Heart Of Scottsdale
At The Scott Resort & Spa, every detail matters—from the first impression in our lush public spaces to the comfort and condition of every guest suite. Just moments from Old Town Scottsdale’s acclaimed dining, art, shopping, and desert energy, our resort is a vibrant, welcoming escape where genuine hospitality is more than a promise—it’s how we work.
We’re looking for an organized, proactive hospitality professional who enjoys bringing order to moving parts, turning data into action, and helping great ideas become beautifully executed projects. In this role, you’ll partner with leaders across Engineering, Rooms, Front Office, and Housekeeping to keep the resort looking its best, operating smoothly, and ready to delight every guest.
If you love a detailed checklist, a well-run project, and the satisfaction of seeing a guest experience improve because of your work, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact at one of Scottsdale’s most distinctive resort destinations.
What You’ll Bring To Life
- Support the Director of Engineering in coordinating and administering capital and non-capital resort projects from early planning through completion.
- Collaborate with Rooms and Operations leaders to build project schedules that protect the guest experience and minimize disruption to resort operations, groups, and events.
- Keep key stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates on project schedules, progress, and operational impacts.
- Provide essential project administration, including gathering proposals, assisting with budgets, contracts, service agreements, purchase orders, certificates of insurance, lien releases, and related documentation.
- Inspect resort signage and coordinate with signage contractors on repairs and replacements.
- Inspect completed preventative maintenance in guest suites, document findings, and help ensure every room is ready to welcome its next guest.
- Inspect and document public-area conditions, create work orders, and coordinate with vendors on maintenance and repair needs.
- Review guest survey feedback daily, identify maintenance-related trends, and help develop projects and preventative-maintenance efforts that elevate satisfaction.
- Support additional property operations priorities as assigned by the Director of Engineering, Director of Rooms, and General Manager.
Why The Scott
This is more than a behind-the-scenes role. Your work helps create the polished, effortless resort experience guests remember long after their Scottsdale getaway ends. You’ll work with a collaborative team that values curiosity, ownership, strong communication, and the kind of thoughtful follow-through that transforms a good stay into a remarkable one.
At The Scott, we make space for genuine hospitality. Our associates bring that purpose to life through our pillars: Hands On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Conscientious. We believe in treating every guest—and each other—as if they are our only guest.
What Will Help You Shine
- Experience managing special projects, ideally in hospitality, facilities, property operations, construction, or a related environment.
- Knowledge of resort or hotel operations and an appreciation for the coordination required to keep a guest-focused property running beautifully.
- Strong administrative, organizational, written, verbal, and data-management skills.
- Confidence working with project documentation, vendor information, schedules, budgets, and operational reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- A valid Arizona driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
- Clear English communication skills and basic mathematical skills.
- A professional, polished presence appropriate for a four-diamond resort environment.
Physical And Work Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the resort for the duration of the shift, including guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and outdoor areas.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in a variety of Arizona weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, grasp, lift, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to learn and perform in alignment with The Scott Resort & Spa’s Service Essentials and departmental standards.
- Reliable attendance as scheduled, which is essential to the success of every position at The Scott.
A Workplace Built On Respect
We are looking for someone who leads with integrity, communicates with care, stays calm amid changing priorities, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You’ll join a fun, friendly, and enthusiastic team in a city known for its sunshine, Sonoran Desert beauty, and world-class hospitality.
This is a safety-sensitive position and is included in the company’s random drug-screening process.
