What You’ll Do

  • Maintain the exceptional appearance, cleanliness, and operation of all resort pools, spas, and fountains.
  • Monitor and balance water chemistry to ensure water features are clean, clear, safe, and inviting.
  • Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pumps, filters, plumbing, and related pool equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and address repair needs promptly and professionally.
  • Report major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to management.
  • Order, organize, and maintain inventory levels of pool chemicals, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed repair and maintenance logs.
  • Follow all safety procedures for pool, spa, and chemical handling.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer and/or Director of Engineering.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Previous pool maintenance experience is required.
  • Certified Pool Operator certification is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of water chemistry, plumbing, electrical systems, natural gas properties, and general maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of safe handling and storage procedures for pool and spa chemicals.
  • Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and equipment associated with pool and facility maintenance.
  • Basic mathematical skills needed to perform daily duties, chemical calculations, and maintenance tasks.
  • A detail-oriented, organized approach to maintaining workspaces, supplies, records, and equipment.
  • Clear, professional communication skills in English, including the ability to read, write, listen, and speak effectively.

Ready For A Hands-On Role?

This is an active, outdoor position that keeps you moving throughout our beautiful Scottsdale property. You must be able to walk the property for most of the workday; bend, stoop, and kneel; push and pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds; and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Because our pools and water features are central to the resort experience, reliability matters. Actual hours may vary based on business needs, and dependable attendance as scheduled is essential.
