At The Scott Resort & Spa, every gathering deserves a beautiful beginning. From sun-soaked Scottsdale weddings and lively corporate retreats to intimate dinners beneath Arizona skies, our events are designed to feel effortless, memorable, and distinctly special. Behind every perfectly placed chair, polished table, and transformed event space is a hardworking team that makes the magic happen.

If you enjoy staying active, take pride in a job well done, and love being part of a fun, supportive hospitality team, this is your opportunity to help create exceptional experiences at one of Scottsdale’s most distinctive resort destinations.

Make Space for Genuine Hospitality

Our purpose is simple: Making space for genuine hospitality. As part of our events team, you’ll help turn meeting rooms, ballrooms, and outdoor spaces into welcoming settings where guests connect, celebrate, and make memories. No two days—or events—are exactly alike.

Located near the energy of Old Town Scottsdale, The Scott Resort & Spa brings a vibrant, stylish spirit to the Sonoran Desert. Our associates bring that same spirit to work: hands-on, heartfelt, collaborative, curious, conscientious, and always ready to make guests feel like they’re our only guests.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up, refresh, service, and break down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and special event functions according to resort standards and event specifications.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, staging, linens, décor, and other event furnishings with care, precision, and an eye for presentation.
  • Keep function spaces clean, organized, polished, and guest-ready before, during, and after each event.
  • Maintain outdoor event spaces so every Scottsdale celebration looks its best—from daytime meetings to evening receptions.
  • Assist with meeting-space equipment, basic maintenance needs, and repairs as requested.
  • Support banquet service and food-and-beverage operations when needed.
  • Work closely with banquet captains, supervisors, and the Director of Banquets to ensure seamless events and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Pitch in wherever needed to support the team and deliver the thoughtful service The Scott Resort & Spa is known for.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You enjoy active, physical work and take satisfaction in seeing a space go from empty to event-ready.
  • You are dependable, organized, and attentive to the details that make a meaningful difference.
  • You communicate clearly, listen carefully, and work well alongside a diverse team.
  • You bring a professional, polished appearance appropriate for a Four Diamond resort environment.
  • You treat guests and fellow associates with courtesy, respect, and genuine warmth.
  • Prior hospitality, banquet, event setup, or related experience is preferred—but a strong work ethic and great attitude go a long way.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds for extended periods.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 500 pounds.
  • Ability to remain active throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, moving equipment, and working indoors and outdoors.

Schedule And Work Environment

This is a full-time opportunity supporting a busy resort events operation. Evening, night, weekend, and holiday availability is essential. Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical to creating the smooth, polished events our guests expect.
