Lead the First Impression at a Phoenix Golf Destination

Set against the sun-washed beauty of South Mountain and the energy of Phoenix, Arizona Grand Resort & Spa delivers a golf experience that feels distinctly elevated. This is an opportunity to lead the team that creates the first—and often most lasting—impression for every golfer, tournament guest, and resort visitor.

You’ll bring polish, momentum, and genuine hospitality to the outside golf operation each morning. From the perfectly staged cart to the warm welcome at arrival, you’ll set the pace for service that reflects the standards of a Four Diamond resort and the relaxed sophistication of the Sonoran Desert.

What You’ll Make Happen

  • Lead and supervise the Outside Services team during scheduled morning shifts, creating an organized, positive, and guest-focused operation.
  • Train, coach, motivate, and support associates while modeling professional, attentive service at every touchpoint.
  • Welcome golfers and non-golfing guests as they move through the staging area, offering a warm, informed, and seamless arrival experience.
  • Prepare and stage golf carts for daily play, ensuring each cart is clean, fully equipped, and ready for an exceptional round.
  • Oversee range operations, including setup, equipment readiness, presentation, and guest accessibility.
  • Manage club rental procedures, including storage, issuance, returns, and documentation of potential damage.
  • Supervise bag storage procedures and assist with the safe, efficient loading and unloading of golf equipment.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the cart staging area, golf patio, driving range, and cart barn.
  • Ensure Outside Services associates use radio equipment effectively to keep communication crisp and operations running smoothly.
  • Partner closely with golf shop personnel, the Tournament Sales Manager, Rangers, Starters, and Golf Management to execute daily play, tournaments, and special events with precision.
  • Step in where needed to support resort events, operational priorities, cleaning responsibilities, and other assignments from management.

Why This Role Stands Out

At Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, hospitality is more than a greeting—it’s a feeling. You’ll work in a vibrant resort environment where Phoenix’s year-round golf culture, dramatic desert landscape, and high expectations for service come together. Every shift offers the chance to energize a team, anticipate guest needs, and create the effortless experience guests expect from a premier destination.

What You’ll Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience is helpful, especially in golf, hospitality, recreation, or guest services.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and the pace of a well-run golf operation.
  • A confident ability to operate a golf cart safely through active and congested areas.
  • Clear, timely communication skills, with the ability to speak, listen, read, and write effectively in English.
  • An ethical, accountable, and solutions-oriented approach to leadership.
  • A professional appearance and the presence to represent a Four Diamond resort with confidence.

Ready for the Desert Elements

This is an active, outdoor leadership role in one of America’s great golf cities. You’ll spend most of your time outside and should be comfortable working in changing weather conditions, navigating steep cart paths, lifting golf bags in and out of carts, and replacing water jugs weighing approximately 20–30 pounds.

If you thrive on leading from the front, love the rhythm of golf operations, and know that exceptional service begins before the first tee shot, this is your opportunity to make every morning at Arizona Grand Resort & Spa feel unforgettable.

The Arizona Grand Resort & Spa’s leaders and associates believe each guest should be treated with respect and professionalism. We create a genuine experience, enticing our guests to return again and again. In order to be successful at The Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, associates must share both our Purpose (Making Space for Genuine Hospitality) and Pillars (Hands On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Conscientious). This includes possessing and demonstrating a high level of courtesy and respect for both internal and external guests. Our fun, friendly and enthusiastic associates treat every guest as if they were our only guest. A true customer focus is essential to success with our property.
