Compensation: Starting at $18.85 per hour

Summary of Position:

We’re excited to welcome a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to our team! If you love the idea of being the friendly face that ensures our guests feel comfortable and taken care of, even in the late hours, this is the perfect role for you. As a Night Auditor, you’ll balance the day’s transactions, provide top-notch guest service, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment overnight. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while making a meaningful impact on the guest experience.

Essential Functions:

Guest Services & Front Desk Operations

  • Welcome late-night arrivals and assist with check-ins/check-outs.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
  • Address and resolve guest issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Monitor all communication channels and respond in real time.

Nightly Audit & Financial Reconciliation

  • Review and balance daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in revenue reporting.
  • Process credit card payments and ensure proper billing procedures.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary reports for hotel management.
  • Close out the business day in the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
  • Huddle with prior shift and complete pass-on for next shift to maintain communication.

Safety & Security

  • Monitor hotel premises for safety and security, reporting any concerns.
  • Ensure all doors and access points are secure overnight.
  • Follow emergency protocols when necessary, including guest evacuations or first response to incidents.
  • Complete all reports as needed by the safety team.

Other Duties

  • Assist with light housekeeping or restocking of front desk supplies as needed.
  • Set up early morning coffee service (if applicable).
  • Support overnight event guests with any needs related to their stay.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required; college education preferred but not required.

Certificates or Licenses: N/A

Experience: A minimum of one year front desk / night audit or customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•           Ability to make quick and efficient decisions to benefit the guest, team and operation.

•           Ability to memorize, reflect and perform our Purpose, Pillars and Service Standards.

•           Ability to use a moderately complex computer system and troubleshoot software problems

•           Ability to utilize a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.

•           Must type a minimum of 15 WPM

Personal Characteristics:

•           Behaves ethically and honestly

•           Communicates effectively: Speaks and listens and engages in a clear, thorough, and timely manner, effectively reading and writing, using the English language (preferred)

•           Professional Appearance: Exhibits an appearance appropriate for a four diamond resort (Specific grooming standards are available for review)
