This is an opportunity for an energetic, guest-focused professional to create memorable arrivals, seamless rounds, and gracious departures for golfers and resort guests alike. You’ll be part of a team that understands the details matter: a perfectly staged cart, a ready bag, a warm welcome, and the confidence that every guest is in capable hands.

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome golfers and non-golfing guests with genuine, polished hospitality throughout the golf staging area.
  • Assist guests with golf bags and equipment between the parking area, bag storage, and golf carts.
  • Load and unload golf bags safely, efficiently, and with care.
  • Stage golf carts each day to create an organized, guest-ready experience.
  • Maintain golf carts, including charging batteries, checking tire pressure, and identifying needs for upkeep.
  • Support bag storage operations according to established procedures.
  • Partner closely with the inside golf team to prepare for group outings and special events, including bag tags, cart signs, and event-specific guest needs.
  • Assist cart wash team members with cart detailing to maintain the elevated presentation guests expect at Arizona Grand Resort & Spa.
  • Help retail team members move boxes and supplies, including items weighing 30 pounds or more, from storage areas to the pro shop.
  • Support resort departments during special events and assist with general cleaning and upkeep of golf operations areas.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by managers and supervisors.
The Ideal Candidate

You are at your best in a fast-moving, guest-facing environment. You take pride in staying one step ahead, enjoy being outdoors, and know that a sincere welcome can set the tone for an entire day. You bring a professional presence, a strong work ethic, and an appreciation for the traditions and etiquette of the game.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Golf knowledge, including basic rules and etiquette, is preferred.
  • Ability to safely maneuver golf carts through active and congested areas.
  • Ability to lift and move golf bags, replace water jugs weighing approximately 20–30 pounds, and assist with boxes weighing 30 pounds or more.
  • Ability to walk up and down steep cart paths and remain active throughout the shift.
  • Comfort working outdoors for most of the day in changing conditions, from sun-filled Phoenix mornings to seasonal heat and inclement weather.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • A polished, resort-appropriate appearance and a commitment to established grooming standards.
  • A reputation for integrity, dependability, teamwork, and thoughtful guest service.
