Global Accounts Manager Opportunity with Classic Hotels & ResortsAM Shift

Summary Of Position:
Global Accounts Manager is responsible for uncovering, prospecting and acquiring new business while also maintaining relationships for the Classic Hotels & Resorts portfolio. This position may be located on property or home-based if candidate resides outside of the state of Arizona.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for uncovering, prospecting, retaining and acquiring accounts and generating new business to a level that meets or exceeds sales forecasts.
- Qualification of all local & regional accounts.
- Track all group opportunities, leads, lost, turndown and definite for future traces.
- Develop, maintain and record accurate knowledge of assigned accounts within the defined market segments to include business economics and travel needs; identify potential new accounts; know competitors' sales strategies, relative sales position and initiatives; and employ tactics that match customers' growth patterns and travel needs.
- Executes all aspects of the sales and marketing plans to surpass revenue goals. This includes telephone solicitation, making outside sales calls and cold calls while maintaining relationships with current accounts.
- Works with Director of Sales to grow revenue from select accounts and Group segments.
- Creation of value-add items to demonstrate benefit to key companies or for those who refer other meetings.
- Submit weekly regular reports on timely basis utilizing the standard tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Meet and exceed monthly and yearly goals.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required, college degree preferred.
Experience: Must have 5 + years of hotel group sales experience. Prior experience managing the Association group segment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, Delphi, and Windows operating system
- Skilled in sales presentations and utilizing sales tools such as PowerPoint, Excel and various digital collateral
- Ability to manage details effectively
- Ability to maintain a professional image in tough situations
- Ability to learn and demonstrate the Resort’s service standards and AAA Diamond standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong selling and negotiating skills and proven ability to close business.
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, travel up to 25% of the time, and home office when not traveling in an environment conducive to conducting business at a professional level.
