Jobs at La Playa Hotel

• Hotel House Person (Housekeeping)

House Person Wanted: Keep a Carmel Coast Icon Running Like Clockwork

Tucked between whispering pines and the churning blue of Carmel Bay, La Playa Hotel has stood as a storied landmark since 1905 — a place where European garden charm meets California coastal soul. Here, in one of the most photographed villages in America, your work becomes part of the scenery. We’re seeking a meticulous, energetic professional to help orchestrate the quiet magic that happens behind every perfectly turned-down room.

• Host (Food & Beverage)

Host Wanted: Command the Room at Carmel's Legendary La Playa Hotel

Fog rolls in off the Pacific like a secret just beginning to tell itself. Cypress trees twist into shapes no architect could dream up. And somewhere between the fairy-tale cottages and the dunes, there’s a door at La Playa Hotel that only the right person knows how to open.

• Area General Manager (General Manager)

Lead Carmel's Grande Dame: Area General Manager, Two Iconic Properties, One Legacy and a boutique company where "Making Space for Genuine Hospitality" is our shared sense of purpose.

Picture a place where cypress trees bend toward the surf, where white sand beaches meet cobblestone streets, and where a storied 1905 estate-turned-hotel has welcomed artists, dignitaries, and dreamers for over a century. Now picture yourself at the helm of it.
