Summary of Position:

To prepare hot and cold foods to the highest standards, by following all recipe cards and established procedures for the restaurant.

Essential Functions:

•Prepare all items on prep list following standard procedures, and set pars as established by Kitchen Management.

•Inspect food for quality when working on prep list.

•Cover food product, label, date and rotate walk-in.

•Maintain equipment, walk-in, freezers and storage areas up to health department standards.

•Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times.

•  Other tasks as assigned by the Restaurant Chef, Executive Chef and/or the General Manager.

Qualifications:

Education: Combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Experience: Will train the individual who is eager to learn and who has the right attitude.

Certificates or Licenses: Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•Ability to make quick and efficient decisions to benefit the team and guest.

Personal Characteristics:

•Behaves ethically.

•Organized: Maintain a neat, organized workspace, maintaining important documents pertinent to job.

•Communicates effectively: Speaks and listens in a clear, thorough, and timely manner, effectively reading and writing, using the English language.

•Professional Appearance: Exhibits an appearance appropriate for a four diamond resort (Specific grooming standards are available for review).
